Blackjack Game Overview
This blog is devoted to the Blackjack game – the most popular card game. It is considered that if you count all tables in all casinos in the whole world it will turn out that for Blackjack there are more tables than all other games’ altogether: poker tables, roulette, craps, baccarat, punto banco, sicbo, pharaoh and even with casino restaurants tables.
Blackjack is a fair gambling. It is practically the only casino game in which results depend not only on luck but also on a player’s skills. In the end of course everything is cleared by chance or good luck. But in this case casino doesn’t have mathematic advantage over a strong player.
Though in order to win (or at least not lose) in blackjack one need to learn how to play it. There’s only one little thing left: master quite easy principles which will allow you at least to keep at the same level with others in a casino.
Blackjack is a pot game in which gamers don’t play against each other
Each of them plays against the pot similarly to poker and roulette. Casino representative in the game is the dealer.
Some think that blackjack resembles pontoon or Van John. At first sight it really looks like that: all players try to collect a combination of cards giving them 21 points (or a little less) and too much leads to their immediate loss. But these games differ in essence by their strategic principles and Blackjack is quite more difficult and interesting than casino video poker on the internet.
Blackjack is likely to have several historical roots and it isn’t known for sure where and when this game arose. That’s why in different countries and in different casinos game rules are different.
